چکیده
In a context in which the incidence and severity of grapevine fungal diseases is increasing as result both climate change modern management culture practices, reducing excessive use phytosanitary products viticulture represents major challenge. Specifically, trunk (GTDs), caused by several complexes wood decay or xylem-inhabiting fungi, pose challenge to vineyard sustainability. this study, efficacy chitosan oligomers (COS)–amino acid conjugate against three species belonging Botryosphaeriaceae family (Neofusicoccum parvum, Diplodia seriata, Botryosphaeria dothidea) was investigated vitro planta. tests led EC50 EC90 effective concentrations 254.6?448.5 672.1?1498.5 µg·mL?1 range, respectively, depending on amino involved complex (viz. cysteine, glycine, proline tyrosine) pathogen assayed. A synergistic effect between COS acids observed D. seriata B. dothidea (synergy factors up 2.5 2.8, according Wadley’s method). The formulations based that showed best inhibition rates, COS?tyrosine, were further greenhouse trial grafted vines two varieties (”Tempranillo” 775P “Garnacha” 110R rootstock), artificially inoculated with mentioned species. planta bioassay revealed chosen induced significant decrease disease N. parvum dothidea. summary, reported may be promising enough worthy additional examination larger field trials.

INTRODUCTION Fungicides are widely used in conventional agriculture to control plant diseases. Prolonged usage often poses health problems as modern society is becoming more health-conscious. Penicillium digitatum, the cause of citrus green mould, is an important postharvest pathogen which causes serious losses annually. The disease is currently managed with synthetic fungicides. There is, howe...
متن کاملfungal pathogens associated with grapevine trunk diseases in iran
during 2004–2007 various own rooted vineyards were inspected to study the fungi associated with vine trunk diseases in iran. samples from declining vines showing yellowing and reduced growth and different symptoms in wood, including browning of the wood, necrosis, brown and black streaking and white rot were collected. fungal isolations were made from affected tissues onto malt extract agar (me...
متن کاملDiversity of Fungal Trunk Pathogens Associated with Grapevine Dieback of Grapevine in Algeria
A significant reduction in vine production has recently been recorded in several vine regions in Algeria due to the death (total or partial) of many vines and to the pulling of many vineyards that had showed too many symptoms of decline. This study was conducted during spring 2010 2012 to detect the responsible agents for this disease. Samples of grapevine wood were collected in five grapevine ...
متن کاملEco-friendly chitosan production by Syncephalastrum racemosum and application to the removal of acid orange 7 (AO7) from wastewaters.
Due to the existence of new methodologies that have reduced the production costs of microbiological chitosan, this paper puts forward the use of agro-industrial residues in order to produce microbiological chitosan and to apply chitosan as an innovative resource for removing acid orange 7 (AO7) from wastewaters. The best culture conditions were selected by a full 24 factorial design, and the re...
